It’s no secret that men trail women when it comes to preventative care. Nearly 30% of male healthcare consumers don’t have a PCP, despite being at a higher risk for complications or mortality for various procedures or conditions than their female counterparts.

The good news is that many of the most common diseases for men are detectable and manageable if caught early and treated. This gives physicians a great opportunity to reach out to men who are unengaged in their health and encourage participation in relevant prevention programs.
